Hannah Woolven is a yoga teacher with 20 years of personal practice and a Registered Yoga School 200 qualification in yoga teaching from Sampoorna Yoga School.
Hannah is passionate about the changes that bringing a yoga practice into your life can make, and about the enormous benefits of learning to focus attention inward, building a stronger mind – body awareness. She is also a big fan of bringing light heartedness to yoga, and working at accepting all the sides of ourselves that we bring to the mat.
She is very much looking forward to connecting with you, whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned yogi.
Benefits of Yoga
Hannah will be offering a yoga course exclusive to Freedog & Flashpoint.
As well as working on flexibility and strength, you will also be building your mind-body connection, proprioception awareness and mindset, as well as practising breathing techniques.
All of these elements are ideal for supporting you in challenges on and off the yoga mat in all areas of your life.
Each class will last an hour and will centre on a specific theme.
We will begin with some breath work and focus practise, and a few simple warm up exercises.
We will deepen with some strength work, aiming to marry stability and flexibility (especially in the core, shoulders and hips) through traditional yoga poses, building these into dynamic flows that support functional movement.
Balance play, seated stretches and a meditation will round off the session.
